Fancy running a workshop as part of this year’s Arts Trail?
Through successful sponsorship we are very pleased to have funding available to run workshops and support performances as part of the Arts Trail this year.
We hire local venues, pay artists as facilitators and then run free drop-in sessions, open to the whole community. Our workshops give the chance for anyone and everyone to try their hand at something new, use unfamiliar materials or come together as a family and create something as a team.
“This is exactly what children need; something open-ended where they can be themselves and make what they want!”
“I loved running the drop in workshop – so many keen families enjoying being creative.”
To get some ideas flowing, last year we welcomed workshops that explored watercolours, printmaking, kids crafts, paper folding, collage, weaving and clay. We also hosted performances from CrumScrum and The Bristol Harpist.
Sound good? If you’d like to apply to run a creative workshop or performance, complete the below application form by Sunday 26 May.
Please note that we anticipate receiving more applications than we have funding to be able to support, so please be aware we cannot say yes to everyone, as much as we’d like to be able to. Completing this form does not guarantee you funding or a place to run a workshop as part of the Arts Trail weekend.
